Faculty week is a special time set aside by the institution for academics and students to meet in a friendly atmosphere to interact and exchange ideas on current societal issues. It is an experience students in particular look forward to, as they garner profound knowledge from their mentors. It was against this backdrop that the various faculties came out enmasse to mark the week in a unique and memorable way.
Management team lead by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sam Guobadia, was on site to assess the ongoing construction work. A team of professional engineers were seen working assiduously.
As part of its effort to kick start the construction of the ultra-modern state- of- the art engineering facility at the University campus, Okha, the University Management recently held a consultative meeting with a team of engineers from both the local and international communities. Amongst these were members of the Engineering Ministries International (EMI), Canada.
