OPAC is the computerized form of the traditional card catalogue. It is developed through the creation of library database emanating from the library software known as Strategic Library Automation Management (SLAM), which is the software used in BIU library. The OPAC provides search medium for library users through the following key words; Author, Titles, Subjects as well as some vital other keywords and figures.

The OPAC is situated at the entrance of the library so that our users can find out if a specific title is presently within the library for use or available to lend to users.
