What is the BIU portal website address

What is my User ID

Your UserID is usually your matriculation number for returning students and JAMB/UTME registration number for newly admitted students

What is my portal login password

The password is password1 for any student who has never logged into the portal. Returning   students should be able to login  on the portal with the password they changed to after their  first login

I can’t remember my password:

Click recover password and type your username(format: First name + First letter of your Middlename + Surname e.g FrankiEdohor) and it will send the password to the email your email address.

I am in a wrong department, how can i change it

Please send an email to [email protected] with your name and matriculation number for returning students  or JAMB registration number for newly admitted students stating the above problem

How do i change a password?

: You can change your password by clicking the change password  link at the top right hand side of your portal account.

How do i make school fees payment on the portal

Follow the steps below

  • Log in with your userID and password
  • Go to transactions and click edit profile
  • Upload your picture and click view, then click save to save the changes you just made to your profile
  • Go to hostel and select the hostel of your choice then click add to fees payment
  • Go to fees and scroll to the bottom of your page, at the left hand side your will see the options of payment. Select pay instalment or pay full
  • Then click pay fees and then you will see the two modes of payment
  • Select college pay Web if you wish to pay using your atm cards , then follow the necessary procedures

OR

  • Select college pay inbranch if you wish to pay at the bank,  click continue and then you will see your transaction ID. Print it out and take it to the bank
I tried logging into the portal but it shows that there is no username on the database

How do I register my courses ?
  • You have to first  register your courses with your course adviser who will endorse it by a signature.
  • Then come along with your signed course form to ICT department to do your registration online.
  • Log into portal with your user name and password
  • Go to transaction
  • Click on course registration. Go to assigned course and select the courses for both first and second semester, then save semester registration.
I don’t want to stay in the hostel. Must I select a hostel before paying my school fees?

Staying in the hostel is compulsory. Therefore, you MUST select a hostel.

I have made all my payments but the Portal says I should complete my outstanding fee. Why is that?

Go to financial services to lodge your complaint and ensure it is rectified.  Then log into your portal account to confirm effected change.

 How do I correct the spelling of my name on portal?

Contact the administrative personnel in the ICT department.
