Entry Requirements

Ph.D. Programmes

• Six credit in relevant O’ Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics in WAEC or NECO.
• A Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Honours Division from any University recognized by Benson Idahosa University Senate.
• M.Sc or M.Phil. Degree in a related field from any University recognized by the Senate of Benson Idahosa University with a minimum of 60% average.

Master Degree Programmes

• Six credit in relevant O’ Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics in WAEC or NECO.
• A minimum of a Second Class Honours degree from a University recognized by Senate of Benson Idahosa University.

Postgraduate Diploma Programmes

• Six credit in relevant O’ Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics in WAEC or NECO.
• A minimum of Third Class Honours Degree from any University recognized by Senate of Benson Idahosa University.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

• Hardcopy Application Forms are obtainable on payment of Fifteen Thousand and Three Hundred Naira (N15,300) only for Master Degree Forms,
• Twenty Thousand and Three Hundred Naira (N20,300) only for Doctorate Degree Forms,
• Ten Thousand and Three Hundred Naira (N10,300) only for Postgraduate Diploma Programme Forms.

DURATION OF PROGRAMMES

Ph.D Degree Programmes

A minimum of six (6) academic semesters and maximum of Ten (10) academic semesters.

Master Degree Programmes

A minimum of three (3) academic semesters and maximum of six (6) academic semesters.

Postgraduate Degree Programmes

A minimum of two (2) academic semesters and maximum of four (4) academic semesters.
