BENSON IDAHOSA UNIVERSITY TO PARTNER ISRAEL ON RENEWABLE ENERGY SOLUTIONS

  technion 2The University Management has begun partnership talks with some leading universities in Israel to commence studies in Energyneering in the Faculty of Engineering.

Speaking to newsmen at a press briefing penultimate the 12th convocation ceremony, the Vice Chancellor disclosed that members the University’s Management team paid a visit to Israel, to discuss matters on collaboration and partnership with Israel.

 He said that Benson Idahosa University is taking the lead to commence studies in renewable energy in the country, adding that the team which was made up of the President, Bishop F.E.B Idahosa, Himself (Vice Chancellor) and the Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Mark Ighile, met with Eliezer (Moodi) Sandberg, and Prof. Paul Feigin, Vice President of Strategic Projects, at Technion- Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, where they were taken on a guided tour of the Technion Campus and had the pleasure of viewing short movies of “Technion 101, on how the state of Israel developed its Science and Technology and the “Technicon Nation.”

The team was also at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they met with Ariel Horovitz, Director and Founder, Moriah International Center.
