Edo Heritage Union is a United States based organization established in 200L by some Edo indigenes. Its aim is to provide access to health care and scholarships for Edo indigenes in Edo State or abroad. It’s objective is to promote unity, peace and harmony among all Edos; foster awareness of and pride in Edo cultural heritage; work diligently towards the progress of Edo State in the areas of education, delivery of health care, welfare and economic development; to cooperate with other Africans in general and Nigeria in particular in promoting unity and patriotism. The scholarship is aimed at addressing the difficult financial needs of indigent students of Edo extraction.

Criteria for application/nomination

  1. Applicants must be 400L bonafide students of Benson Idahosa University.
  2. Must be seen to have genuine financial hardship or difficulty in paying fees.
  3. Must have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.5 or better. Application/Nomination for interested students is open from September 15th through October 15th 2015.
