Introduction:
Thinkers’ Nest is a Benson Idahosa University powered economic forum, designed to bring together thought leaders, industry experts, practitioners, researchers, and young innovators in the agricultural sector to dialogue and proffer solutions to real time agricultural challenges in Sub – Saharan Africa, with focus on prevention of the possible global food crisis as predicted by a UN backed committee in 2009.
The Radio, Television, Theatre, and Art Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), Edo State Chapter, on the Occasion of the World Television Day, gave a posthumous award to the Founder of Benson Idahosa University and the Archbishop of Church of God Mission International (CGMI), Archbishop Benson Andrew Idahosa.
Benson Idahosa University, on the 8th of December, 2015 had its 4th Inaugural Lecture delivered by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Ernest B. Izevbigie, FNAI. The inaugural lecture was entitled “From Growth Biology to HIV-Associated Nephropathy to the Discovery of Anti- Cancer Agent: Economic Implication”.
The Commissioner of Police (CP), Edo State Command, Chris O. Ezike, on Wednesday 9th of December, 2015, visited Benson Idahosa University and was received by the Management of the University, led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Ernest B. Izevbigie, FNAI.
